NOVEL: The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill source: Mark Rozeluk IDEAS source: GIPHY For my portfolio, I will be making a narrative essay on how the protagonist, Aminata Diallo, represents as a figure of shifting changes to liberate her oppressed people to freedom through hardships and perseverance. I will use some evidences from the novel and link it to my main points. I will touch base upon the character's involvement with some of the characters and how she learned how to be the person that she is at the end. Also, I will explain Aminata's character development to how she ended up siding with the abolitionists in London and the moral lesson of the story itself. The essay itself would sort of summarize the novel through its major scenes. One piece of media texts I will be making is a concept map. This would help me branch out my ideas for my essay and also develop my ideas through connections that I may find. I want to branch out the major terms from the novel...
